Cookies For A Cause
Contest Overview:
Join KilGO Insurance and Beyond Boundaries for “Cookies for a Cause” – a community cookie contest to celebrate National Cookie Day (December 4, 2025). Submit your favorite cookie recipe for a chance to win prizes, bragging rights, and help raise funds for Beyond Boundaries.
How It Works:
- Submit your cookie recipe online by Wednesday, November 27, 2025.
- For every valid entry, KilGO Insurance will donate $1 to Beyond Boundaries, up to $500.
- The top entries will advance to the live judging event on Wednesday, December 4, 2025 at [Event Location TBD].
- Judges will taste-test the finalist cookies and select the Top 3 winners and a "Lucky's Choice" award.
Entry Guidelines:
- Entries must include your full name, email address, and phone number.
- Include your cookie name, recipe ingredients, and short description (or story behind it).
- Only one (1) entry per person is allowed.
- Cookies must be homemade (no store-bought submissions).
- You must be 18 or older to enter.
Public Voting Process (Online):
- Once submissions close (Nov 27), KilGO's team selects 5-10 finalists based on creativity, completeness, and presentation.
- Post photos of those cookies on Facebook and Instagram between Nov 28-Dec 2.
- Include the baker's first name, cookie name, and short story in the caption.
- Ask followers to vote by liking or commenting on their favorite post.
- Track results manually using a simple tally sheet (likes + comments = total votes).
- Public votes count as 25% of the finalist's total score; judges votes count for 75%.
Judging Criteria:
Taste & Texture (40%)
Is it delicious, balanced, and crave-worthy?
Creativity (25%)
Unique flavor or presentation twist.
Appearance (20%)
Visual appeal, presentation, and
“Instagrammability.
Story (15%)
Heartwarming or humorous background story.
Prizes:
1st Place
$150 gift card + KilGO “Cookie Crown” Trophy.
2nd Place
$75 gift card + KilGO Swag Bag & Beyond.
3rd Place
KilGO Cookie Jar + Local Gift Card.
Lucky's Choice
Surprise KilGO Gift Box.
Winners & Announcement:
Winners will be announced live at the event on December 4 and on KilGO’s Facebook and Instagram pages on December 5, 2025.
Legal & Permissions:
By entering, you grant KilGO Insurance permission to use your name, submitted recipe, and photos/videos for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and marketing materials. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
